Tom Curry named Mammoth England Men’s Player of the Year at this year’s virtual awards ceremony hosted by the world’s leading rugby podcast, The Good, The Bad and the Rugby.
Mammoth is extremely proud to announce that England and Sale flanker, Tom Curry, has been named the England Men’s Player of the Year for the second year in a row. The award, sponsored by Mammoth, recognises the outstanding performer for the national team over the course of the last season.
Uniquely voted for by the players themselves, the award was announced on The Good, The Bad and the Rugby podcast and on YouTube at the virtual award ceremony. In winning the award, Tom beat off stiff competition from two other star performers in an England shirt over the last year: Luke Cowan-Dickie and Anthony Watson.
Hosted by Alex Payne, James Haskell and Emily Scarratt, the presenting team had great fun with our award this year, offering advice to Tom on how he might make use of his new Mammoth mattress.

Host Alex Payne said: “This next award is one of our favourites; it sort of makes me smile . . . The Mammoth Mattress England Men’s Player of the Year.”
While James Haskell suggested that Tom might be able to put the mattress to good use in training with his brother and housemate, Ben: “You and your brother [fellow rugby player, Ben Curry] can use it for tackle practice.”
As official partners with the Rugby Player’s Association, Mammoth is the brand of choice for many of the sport’s elite players as they look to optimise their comfort, support and recovery.
